I'm a college student who needed a tip calculator one night at a restaurant. Every site I tried either loaded slowly on my phone, demanded an email address, or shoved five pop-ups in my face before I could even type a number.
So I decided to build something better. CalHub started as one tip calculator. Then a loan calculator for when I was trying to understand student loans. Then BMI for a health class. Then it just kept growing.
